What was our
 sock connoisseur wearing today?

What are her
 thoughts on them?

Where can I buy some?
(yes, links are provided!)

December 4
I wore my thick & baggy longsocks in the rain today. I don’t usually like my socks wet & muddy but this was a special project.
I measured them beside the 36” socks today, you’d think I might’ve done this sooner, anyway, they are 7 inches shorter. Still a great comfy sock, perfect for dreary days & dreamy nights. We have plenty of them on hand in both white & black, plenty of the original long socks too...

December 3
these sparkley fishnets are difficult to show accurately in a photo. They look like they have diamond dust scattered on them, this picture shows it perfectly! I’m wearing them over the pink OTKs with bows for a really nice effect.  I think any of the fishnets would go nicely over any of the solid OTKs or thigh highs, I’ll make an effort to start showing off the possibilities and might even make a special page to feature them on in the future.

December 2
I wore these to help myself remember to order them...
They are a sample pair of wool over the knee socks made by the same people who make the cotton stripey over the knees, they make a kilt sock I want too.  I’m trying not to get anything new in until after the holidays though because it’s already a challenge to have enough of what I currently sell to cover the sudden rush to please others... and, in case you weren’t sure, socks make wonderful gifts!

December 1
Flannel lined jeans with bootsocks & slip on shoes make getting dressed for work while it’s still dark out sooo much more bearable!
Look what slouchers they’ve become, they love to settle around my ankles & hang over my shoes.  These are the socks to reach for when your feet are cold at night & you’re lounging around or heading to bed.  I don’t sleep well when my feet are cold...

November 30
other than being at home (especially being in bed), this is one of my favorite places to be. It’s the safe of the cash office (my day job).  I like it because it’s orderly & precise, unlike life. Okay, that bottom shelf to the left is a mess, but no money goes down there so it’s alright.  There is a mirror in front of me so I can watch my back & a camera behind me so they can watch me.  I wonder if they were watching when I took this. Of course, my stripes stayed up all day as usual, good stripeys!

November 29
I read an article from People on CNN titled “How Tweed It Is” about how tweed is “veddy stylish”.  I had no idea when I decided to carry these, I just thought they were unique & fun. They go up over the knees and tend to fall below the knees after awhile, they ended up around my ankles when I ran around with my dog for a bit. I pulled them back up after this shot and they are still at my knees hours later.
I have them in 3 colors...

November 28

every year I plan & hope to avoid the holidays and every year a well meaning loved one insists on spreading the joy of the season my way so I have some potatoes to whip & some gravy to make.
My new little socksies are still making me & my ankles happy, they are light weight & warm, not to mention soft, very soft!

Yes, these really are the socks that I’ve worn each day.
Now that I have a digital camera I can take pictures & post them the same day.
The reason the date is always a day behind is that I do my posting at the end of each day so that I can share genuine comments I receive  & thoughts I’ve had throughout the day (it being nearly winter my socks aren’t usually visible for others to see though).
