October 30

Yesterday’s shot inspired today’s and this combination kept my toes & ankles nice & warm in this extra chilly windy weather. 
The purple bootsocks peeking out from the tops of these tall boots looked great, I wore the oat/sweat 3 striped bootsocks for awhile too so it was a two bootsock day, wait, a what?
yes, somedays I wear more than 1 pair of socks & sometimes I wear 1 pair for more than 1 day.

the little grey cloudtreks fit perfectly inside my tall lace up boots leaving plenty of room for my velvet leggings to come down to my ankles without crowding & binding.
Nobody ordered socks today for the first time in weeks which was a little odd, though it was nice to nearly have a day off, I did get some nice long angora socks ordered this morning among other sock duties.

my toes look huge!
it’s like one of those shots where the dog’s nose is grossly out of proportion to the rest of it’s head.
These are the EG Smith bobby sockling, graphite grey, I wore them under my sketcher boots, they didn’t show at all and didn’t crowd my feet inside the boots, a very good sock for shoes that “just fit”.

this may be my least glamorous shot yet, dirty soles & all!
notice the bit of bagging behind my heels?  that’s because the bootsocks are a size 10-13 men’s, though they are extremely comfortable on my feet (which are about a women’s size 8 1/2).
I’m at the wonderfully scary part of having a business now where I’m having a harder time keeping stock in to keep up with sales, not that I’m complaining mind you, but I hope that you will be patient with me if I don’t have what you want this week or next, I’m working on it though...

Why must the days grow shorter? and why must we change our clocks twice a year?  I have little enough time as it is!
Another new sock...
Zebra stripes, or perhaps they are white tiger stripes?  they are very well made & stayed up perfectly. I have them in anklets also...
 I need to rearrange the striped skins page to include these...

I can only safely call these Angora to the knee socks from here forward.  I can pull them over my knees, they just don’t stay if I walk around. They do stay just at my knees perfectly.
These are made in France.  Next month I’m trying Orkney Angora, it will definitely be more of an over the knee than these and will cost a bit more as well.

Now I have to figure out how to rearrange the anklets section to feature these...
they are 22% angora (nice & soft!) with nicely reinforced toes & heels like yesterday’s pair (which I still had on most of today).
I don’t know what the message says yet though, perhaps someone will translate it for me...
